DeFi Protocol Engineer with Finance & Investment Expertise

I engineer
financial logic
on-chain.

I design EVM protocols where collateral, liquidity, incentives, and smart-contract security must work as one system. Solidity depth, finance-informed judgment.

DeFi protocols secured by testing and informed by finance.

Core Skill Set

Blockchain depth with product delivery range.

My strongest work sits where protocol design, financial risk logic, and usable Web3 interfaces meet. I can reason about contract behavior, test assumptions, and still build the frontend flows users need to interact with the protocol.

SC

Smart Contracts

Solidity, EVM, ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-4337, access control, modular state design, and gas-aware implementation.

DF

DeFi Protocols

CDPs, over-collateralized stablecoins, AMMs, Uniswap v3, staking, lending pools, health factors, and liquidations.

TS

Testing & Security

Foundry unit tests, integration tests, fuzzing, invariant checks, oracle-risk awareness, and edge-case coverage.

W3

Web3 Tooling

Foundry, Hardhat, Ethers.js, Web3.js, WalletConnect, MetaMask, Alchemy RPC, Chainlink, CCIP, IPFS, and Pinata.

FE

Frontend / Backend

TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, React, Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, dashboards, wallet flows, and contract interactions.

FI

Finance-Aware Engineering

MSc Finance background supporting better judgment around collateral, liquidation paths, solvency, and DeFi risk controls.

Core DeFi Project

DeFi systems built around risk, liquidity, and secure smart contracts.

These projects focus on the parts of DeFi that matter in production: collateral movement, pricing assumptions, liquidation paths, vault accounting, tokenized claims, liquidity design, and tests that challenge the protocol before users do.

Aegis_01 Isolated Lending Protocol

Aegis Bank

A non-custodial lending market exploring isolated risk pools, utilization-based interest rates, health factors, oracle validation, liquidation incentives, and bad-debt containment.

SolidityFoundryERC-4626Chainlink
Credit_02 RWA Credit and Cash-Flow Protocol

Tokenized Private Credit

A permission-aware credit protocol for originating loans, tokenizing lender claims, accruing interest, processing repayments, and representing default or recovery states on-chain.

RWACredit RiskERC-4626
AMM_03 Uniswap-Inspired Liquidity Engine

Orbis AMM Lab

A concentrated-liquidity AMM study paired with a risk simulator, exploring price curves, LP fee economics, slippage, impermanent loss, and adverse market conditions.

Stake_04 Share Accounting and Withdrawal Liquidity

Liquid Staking Vault

A liquid-staking architecture focused on exchange-rate accounting, validator allocation, reward accrual, withdrawal queues, slashing exposure, and liquidity under stressed redemption demand.

Broader Blockchain Delivery

Other shipped Web3 products beyond DeFi.

These projects are not pure DeFi protocol work, but they show production delivery across token launches, marketplaces, NFT flows, wallet UX, metadata storage, and event-driven dApps.

ICO Marketplace Polygon Amoy

Crypto ICO Marketplace & ERC-20 Token Launchpad

Full-stack Web3 launchpad for creating ERC-20 tokens, launching ICOs, managing token sales, and running the complete on-chain workflow on Polygon Amoy.

Integrated MetaMask and Ethers.js for wallet transactions and network validation, secured token-logo uploads through a server-side Pinata API, and tested the core workflows before deployment on Vercel.

Tokenized Ownership Polygon Amoy

Unlock Estate — Web3 Real-Estate Marketplace

Full-stack decentralized real-estate marketplace built with Next.js, Solidity, Hardhat, MetaMask, Pinata/IPFS, and Ethers.js, with smart contracts deployed on the Polygon Amoy testnet.

The platform supports property listing, purchasing, ownership transfer, price updates, listing fees, and on-chain reviews. I connected the contract layer to a responsive Next.js frontend and integrated Pinata/IPFS so property media and metadata can be handled through decentralized storage.

NFT Marketplace Next.js + Solidity

Artefact — NFT Marketplace

Full-stack ERC-721 marketplace for minting, listing, discovering, and purchasing digital collectibles.

I built and tested the smart-contract purchase flow with separate seller and buyer wallets, connected MetaMask through Ethers.js, and deployed the responsive marketplace interface on Vercel.

Tracking Ethereum

Supply Chain & Logistics Tracking Protocol

Ethereum-based shipment state tracking with role-based access control and event-driven frontend synchronization.

I restricted shipment updates to approved dispatch roles and built Ethers.js providers for MetaMask synchronization, contract event listening, and reliable frontend shipment updates.

Access ControlEventsEthers.js

Security & Testing

Built around the failure modes that matter in DeFi.

I approach blockchain development as adversarial engineering. Contracts need to work under pressure: unexpected user actions, unsafe prices, liquidation edge cases, access-control mistakes, and broken accounting assumptions.

Invariant Testing Protocol properties checked across stateful user actions.
Fuzz Testing Edge cases explored beyond the normal happy path.
Access Control Clear permissions for sensitive state changes and administrative paths.
Oracle Risk Price feed assumptions considered in collateral and liquidation logic.

Advanced Research Areas

Where I’m pushing deeper.

Tokenized Ownership

RWA ownership claims, property transfer logic, ERC-based asset representation, permission boundaries, and finance-aware settlement flows.

Cross-Chain Interoperability

Chainlink CCIP concepts, cross-chain message passing, token transfer design, and multi-chain synchronization risks.

Account Abstraction

ERC-4337 smart accounts, UserOperations, paymaster concepts, gasless execution, and alternative signature validation patterns.

Finance × DeFi Expertise

Where finance and investment meet DeFi protocol engineering.

MSc Finance and InvestmentUniversity of Wales, Wales, UK | 2013

Finance-informed DeFi judgment Applying finance and investment judgment to collateral design, cash-flow logic, incentives, liquidity, solvency, leverage, and risk transfer in smart contracts.

Solvency

Keep liabilities covered under realistic collateral, oracle, and price-stress assumptions.

Liquidity

Separate recorded protocol value from available exits, withdrawals, and liquidation capacity.

Incentives

Model how borrowers, lenders, and liquidators behave when pressure or profit appears.

Risk controls

Encode limits, permissions, circuit breakers, and failure containment directly into protocol logic.

Open Channel

Building financial infrastructure on-chain?

I’m open to DeFi protocol, Solidity, smart-contract testing, RWA tokenization, and full-stack Web3 opportunities with teams that value explicit risk reasoning.
